‘Jute’ Main Restaurant

The main air conditioned restaurant of the hotel, located on the ground floor of the south wing, can seat 200 people at one time. Non air conditioned seating is available for 50 persons. It offers a spectacular view of the beach and ocean. The Jute offers a comprehensive buffet with Eastern, Western and international food. You can also enjoy a selection from our wine list with your meals. The visionary interior decoration of Geoffrey Bawa creates a unique ambience in which to relax and enjoy your meal.

Meal Times:
Breakfast - 7.00 to 10.00 hrs
Lunch - 12.30 to 15.00 hrs
Dinner - 19.00 to 22.00 hrs

‘Mustard’ Coffee Shop

 The Mustard Coffee Shop located next to the main lounge and swimming pool, is open 24 hours a day. You can enjoy food from the A La Carte menu in the fresh air. This restaurant also offers our comprehensive wine list.

‘Upper Room’ Fine Dining Restaurant

This is the fine dining experience par excellence of Ahungalla.  It is open from 7pm to 10pm and seats 35 people. You can hear the soft breeze and the gentle lap of waves on the shore, and see the glint of starlight reflected off the mysterious waters. Open in the evenings the Upper Room is a softly lit and cosy atmosphere to enjoy a romantic dinner. Enjoy exclusive beverages or a selection from our comprehensive wine list with your dinner.
